Art Journal Swap!

Because mixed media was so new to me after I found the youtube videos of inspiration I roamed for a group of some sort. Especially, because I kept hearing on the videos of how people were connected and sending things to each other and it looked like so much fun! I found a mixed media group on facebook through Limor1278 (that's her youtube name, you should watch some of her videos. She's awesome)

In this group was a lady name Jeannie Dukic, and she decided to host a art journal swap! (Thanks Jeannie! I had so much fun doing this.) The idea was to make or buy an art journal, decorate/alter the cover and then do at least one art entry inside the journal. We could also send some goodies as well.

My swap partner was a lovely lady named Linda. (scrapchica.blogspot) and I had so much fun creating her journal. Looking back on it now, I should have done a video once I was done, and described how I did things...oh well. Live and learn, next time. But here are some pictures of what my creative and talented partner made for me.
